The City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications (SRTA-City) is the newest addition of research institutes in Egypt that was directed to the development and renovation of industry. The science park comprises 12 research centers to be developed at different intervals. During last 10 years, SRTA-City has been involved in several competitive Research projects funded by EU calls (H2020, FP6, FP7, EuropeAid) and Egyptian calls via ASRT and STDF, international cooperation entities, etc. Furthermore, since 2010, SRTA-City through the Arid Lands Cultivation Research Institute (ALCRI) has been working in the research field of sustainable agriculture, cultivation under limited water environment. SRTA-City is well equipped with many sophisticated devices in its central laboratories.
